Ryan Harper

Ryan Harper is a product leader and musician based in the San Francisco Bay Area. In his current role as Product Group Manager at Citi Ventures Studio, Ryan leads the development of apps and services designed to support the economic vitality of communities, individuals, and businesses. Citi Ventures Studio's products include City Builder, a data-driven platform for discovering place-based social impact investments; Worthi, a free tool that provides market insights and resources for workers to improve their skills in today’s evolving job market; and exploratory blockchain services to enable a more inclusive and digital economy. Previously, Ryan led product development at Condé Nast Entertainment, where he supported the video initiatives of Condé Nast brands such as The New Yorker, Vogue, Pitchfork, and WIRED in order to drive increased engagement, growth, and monetization. Ryan started his career designing and developing award-winning iOS and Android apps for iHeartRadio, WebMD, and LACMA. He has also taught product management at General Assembly and O'Reilly Media. Outside of work, Ryan writes and records music. He graduated magna cum laude from Yale University with a B.A. in Literature and Music and received a M.M. in Composition from the USC Thornton School of Music.
