RYAN HARPER

Ryan Harper

Ryan Harper is a product leader and musician based in the San Francisco Bay Area. He is currently a Group Product Manager at the U.S. Census Bureau’s Center for Enterprise Dissemination Services and Consumer Innovation (CEDSCI), where he leads the development of data.census.gov and the U.S. Census API. Previously, Ryan led product management teams at Citi Ventures Studio, a product incubator within Citigroup that developed apps and services designed to support the economic vitality of communities, individuals, and businesses, as well as Condé Nast Entertainment, a division of Condé Nast focused on developing digital technologies to enable the video initiatives of brands such as The New Yorker, Vogue, Pitchfork, and WIRED. He started his career designing and developing award-winning iOS and Android apps for iHeartRadio, WebMD, and LACMA. Outside of work, Ryan writes and records music. He graduated magna cum laude from Yale University with a B.A. in Literature and Music and received a M.M. in Composition from the USC Thornton School of Music.
